Belong in Hockey – it's a program coordinated by the Toowoomba Hockey Association, to support the city’s local refugee and migrant population. 

The initiative began to help Middle Eastern Yezidi refugees integrate into the local community through sport. 

Since, Belong in Hockey has evolved to include people from all cultural backgrounds and ages, strengthening Toowoomba’s social hockey scene. 

The program received the Social Cohesion and Community Impact Project of the Year by an Organisation at this year's Multicultural Queensland Awards.
