18 months since its first reading, the Australian senate passed the ASIO amendment bill (no. 2) 2025 with reforms set to significantly expand ASIO’s questioning powers.
The controversial bill has seen politicians from across the political spectrum including Greens, One Nations and Independents uniting in opposition.
