Six councils, community members, health, wine and business representatives, joined forces on the steps of SA's Parliament calling for a permanent ban on fracking in south Australia's Limestone Coast.
The collective, presented an open letter urging politicians to reject state government plans to overturn a 10-year moratorium to end a ban on conventional gas fracking in the region two years early.
The SA Labor government have maintained the move wouldn't approve fracking in the South-East with proposals still subject regulatory processes.
