Sept. 5, 2026--Sandra interviews Sgt. Katherine Evans with the Gilmer Fire Department on the Safe Haven Baby Box program that she's spearheading to bring to Gilmer County. The dedicated box, to be built into Gilmer Fire Headquarters, would allow mothers to anonymously and safely give up their infants. Efforts to raise money to build it are now underway.
