The Movement for Democratic Change has delivered a fiery briefing titled “Welcome to the Club of Failed States”, accusing South Africa of allowing rising Afrophobic attacks against foreign nationals and warning that the country risks undermining investment, jobs, and the rule of law. The party has also turned its focus inward, arguing that Zimbabwe’s economic collapse forced millions into exile and calling on Zimbabweans in South Africa to return home and join the struggle for democratic change
