The Constitutional Court has ruled in favour of housing activists in the final chapter of an almost decade-long court case against the sale of the former Tafelberg School in Sea Point. The court found that the City of Cape Town and the Western Cape government were constitutionally obligated to provide affordable housing in and near the city centre.
