Municipal Watch: The Mbombela Local Municipality is said to have imposed hefty levies on residents with private boreholes. The Freedom Front Plus says that areas such as Hazyview, White River, Barberton and various rural communities have been plagued by unreliable or a complete lack of municipal water supply for years. Those in the White River area say that residents’ accounts are escalating because air moving through empty pipes causes the meters to increase
