Municipal Watch: The City of Johannesburg has reportedly paid Eskom more than R4.3 billion towards its outstanding electricity debt to avoid a possible shutdown. For the past few months the executive mayor Dada Morero has been demolishing illegal structures in the CBD and cracking down on street traders who did not have permits. how will they restore business confidence seeing that the city is still dirty and crime also a problem?
