Whistleblowers in our country may finally get the support they deserve from government. Justice Minister, Mmamoloko Kubayi, has acknowledged that whistleblowers face retaliation, are robbed of the opportunity to make a decent living, and are sometimes even killed for exposing corruption. Now, she’s announced a series of reforms to protect them and you have until the 14th of May to comment on whether these reforms are workable, before the bill goes to parliament for final approval.
