Brian and Ian examine that need not only as people but as pastors and how they can build bonds for Christ. Robert Dickie III, CEO of Bonvera is a man who has over the years held a number of positions for a number of organizations. He joins the show to discuss the benefits of honing career skills in the modern economy and also having multiple side-jobs as other sources of income. Ben Courson is the founder of Hope Generation and author of the book 'Optimisfits'. Ben shares about how being unique, and standing out is a good thing, not bad. Ben also offers wisdom and insight into how being unique also allows a person to be an advocate for Christ. As human beings we all are prone to acting defensive about a variety of things. The guys take a look at several takeaways on how taming a defensive attitude can prove beneficial for relationships. Utah Jazz player Kyle Korver wrote an article about privilege and witnessing the negative aspects of it firsthand with his team-mates. Ian and Brian delve into the article and examine privilege and what can be done to combat the negative effects of it. Ryan Dowd, head of homeless shelter Hesed House and author of the book 'The Librarians Guide to Homelessness', joins the guys in-studio for the remainder of the show. They engage in conversation about Ryan's story, being involved in Hesed House, writing his book and about making a difference for Christ and the Kingdom by helping the homeless.
