Since its establishment in 1993, the Independent Electoral Commission has safeguarded and directed 13 countrywide elections. Now it oversees its 14th, and the nation wants to know whether it is ready.

James Aphane, General Manager for Electoral Matters at the IEC, joins the show to give us the national picture. He will outline the commission’s state of readiness, what voters need to know before heading to the polls, and what happens after the last ballot is cast. If you are voting today, this is the conversation to hear before you leave the house.
