The Supreme Court is currently hearing a case on whether same-sex partners should be permitted to marry. The petitioners argue that marriage is a union between two individuals regardless of their gender, but the government appears to disagree with this perspective. Meanwhile, there is a proposal to establish an administration to examine this issue further.
