A Woolworths worker who was stabbed while stacking shelves at an Ellenbrook store has thanked first responders after the “completely random attack”.

Aveley woman Donna Marie Grocott, 44, was alone in the pet food aisle when she was approached and allegedly stabbed in the back of her hip by Bullsbrook woman Cassandra Hickling.

While the 40cm fish filleting knife didn’t hit major organs, pictures of Ms Grocott’s bandages on her back and fingers reveal the size of the punctures.
