Premiership-winning West Perth coach Darren Harris has caused a stir days after the Falcons’ triumph.

Video of the coach being raised into the air as players and fans celebrate has surfaced, showing him giving repeated and vigorous stick-it-up-them gestures, presumably towards opponents Claremont and those who doubted him.

The Tigers sensationally sacked Harris in the wake of their three-point loss to South Fremantle in the 2020 grand final, a moment he played down when speaking after beating them by 12 points in this year’s decider.
