Australia’s leaders are committing to the ambitious goal of ending violence against women within a generation… With the Albanese government today announcing a new plan to tackle domestic violence,... that has been endorsed by all state and territory governments.

It’s the second 10-year national plan to end violence against women and children, and it contains a new focus on helping victims recover as well as holding perpetrators to account.

Joining me now is someone who guided the consultation process that shaped the plan, the director of the Monash Gender and Family Prevention Centre Kate Fitz-Gibbon.
