A Victorian woman won last night’s $60 million Powerball jackpot. Good luck to her, but I’m one of many people around the country who were convinced it was going to be their lucky night.

So, maybe it’s a case of sour grapes, but, with the increased debate around gambling in society right now, I reckon there’s probably a conversation to be had around the lotto.

And I’m not the only one… a leading gambling-consumer advocate has called for lotteries and scratchies to be included in the same law that bans the use of credit cards for online gambling.
