Three teenagers — including a 13-year-old girl — have been charged over a violent rampage at a Maylands unit complex during which an elderly woman caretaker allegedly had a knife held to her throat.

Police say the girl and two 17-year-old boys set upon the residents of the block on Riverslea Avenue about 10.15pm on Saturday, after they went to check on a commotion caused by the teens outside.
