Perth wanted a show from the Matildas after missing out during the Women’s World Cup — and boy, did they get one from Sam Kerr, Caitlin Foord and company.

With the cobwebs blown away and the shackles off a full-strength Australian team, the Matildas romped to an 8-0 victory over the Philippines in front of 59,155 fans at Optus Stadium.
