Australian tennis identity Jelena Dokic has revealed her mental health deteriorated so badly she almost took her own life but she is now on the road to recovery.

The former world No.4, who has become a successful tennis commentator, has posted on social media detailing a harrowing experience in April.

Dokic posted her story to Instagram, accompanied with a selfie she took on April 28, a day she “will never forget”.
