Potentially deadly nitrous oxide cannisters — or ‘nangs’ — will be reclassified as a Schedule 6 poison and legally won’t be able to be sold to people under the age of 16 in WA, under major changes to be confirmed by the McGowan Government.

To explain what the risks are is Director of the National Drug Research Institute at Curtin University, Professor Simon Lenton.
