Last week was a big week for WA on the world stage. We were being sold to Italy and beyond by the Premier Mark McGowan, with Qantas boss Alan Joyce in the travelling party.  

We were flashed across global screens thanks to the presence of the England rugby team - and that will be followed by a visit from global sporting powerhouse Manchester United in the coming weeks.  

And one of those leading the WA charge into Europe and beyond was Lord Mayor of Perth Basil Zempilas, who joins the show to unpack what's been happening in Perth over the weekend.
