A Perth man has died in Bali after being found trapped in a drainage ditch under his crashed scooter.

Keith Coughlan’s body was found by a local who spotted the vehicle and the victim’s leg on a North Kuta road in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police believe the 26-year-old Fremantle man had been drink-driving after finding seven beer bottles at the scene.
