We’ve spoken a lot about the climate wars here on The West Live. The previous Morrison government was criticised for essentially turning away from climate policy, as the rest of the world signed on to the Paris agreement - with it’s goal of keeping global warming under 1.5 degrees.

But, after the Greens - who hold balance of power in the senate -  backed the new labor government’s climate policy yesterday, could Albo be right when he says the climate wars are over? Or is the fight only just beginning?

To unpack it is Kate Crowley, an Adjunct Associate Professor of Public and Environmental Policy at University of Tasmania.
