Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have denied claims they skipped the queue to visit Queen Elizabeth II lying in state.

Over the weekend, the This Morning presenters received a massive backlash, following photographs and video showing them inside Westminster Hall and that's because with wait times of around 24 hours at their peak, the pair hadn't been seen waiting in the public queue.

But they've now come out saying they had official permission, because they were there for work.
