WA’s Chief Health Officer is encouraging all West Australians over the age of 30 to have their fourth COVID booster shot as case numbers continue to rise across the nation.

The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation this week recommended everyone over 50 should have a fourth jab to maximise their protection against serious disease — but also said the booster should be made available to anyone aged 30-49 who wanted it.
