The first weekend of Coachella is underway and celebrities have flocked to the Californian desert adorning a variety of expressive, sometimes peculiar, outfits.

Festival goers were treated to a performance by megastar Harry Styles on Friday that left the 125,000 strong crowd buzzing, especially with the surprise appearance from none other than Shania Twain.

The Grammy award-winning star, known for his outrageous looks, first appeared in an oversized black fur coat, before unveiling a rainbow embellished jumpsuit underneath.

Styles was seen dancing with a pride flag which represented the bisexual community.

The famed Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival showcases some of the most famous musicians and takes place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California over two jam-packed weekends in April.
