Shocking scenes of people running for their lives after a shooting during an Independence Day parade in Chicago have been shown all over our TVs and on the internet, as the world comes to terms with another US mass shooting.

At least 6 people are dead, and more than 30 people wounded. As of this recording, the suspect, which police have identified is on the loose.
