At least two homes have been completely destroyed in a catastrophic bushfire in Parkerville — one of five emergency-level blazes that have been threatening lives and homes in two days of chaos for firefighters.

Earlier this week, residents in Lancelin were told to flee to the ocean, as fires raced towards the town.
