A young boy has been injured after he was hit by a car in Perth’s south.

A boy, believed to be over the age of 10, was hit by a car at the intersection of Wentworth Parade and Richmond Entrance in Success about 3.40pm on Monday.

He was rushed to Perth Children’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, St John WA confirmed.

A WA Police spokeswoman said the accident occurred near a bus stop.

The crash happened shortly after the busy rush of parents and guardians collecting their children from school.
