Imagine this you’ve booked an overseas holiday with your family on booking.com, you’re planning it, you’re excited to be getting away and then an email lands in your inbox from booking.com. It has your booking reference, the name of the hotel your staying at and a link to click to confirm your booking… Sounds legit, right?
Well, West Aussies have been getting an email just like that this week, but instead of confirming their booking the link is a scam and they’ve been done for hundreds of dollars and had the hassle of cancelling all their credit cards.
