More than 1000 people have been killed in a devastating 6.1 magnitude earthquake in Afghanistan. 

This comes as the country was already dealing with a humanitarian crisis following the takeover of the Taliban last year, and is on the verge of an economic collapse.

There are now fears for the safety of the people in Afghanistan.
