Justice and Constitutional Development Minister, Mmamoloko Kubayi, says they search for an acting head for the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) from outside the organisation is ongoing. The recruitment of the person from outside the unit is under way following the resignation of Advocate Andrea Johnson. Kubayi has also announced the suspension of three IDAC officials following testimony at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.  To further probe the recent allegations and developments within the Madlanga Commission in relation to IDAC. The Credit Association of South Africa warns that it is often the accumulation of several smaller credit commitments and not one large loan that places consumers under financial pressure. This comes as South African households continue to face increasing financial pressure through high food prices, fuel and transport costs including irresponsible borrowing and lending. CASA CEO, Leonie Van Pletzen says every credit commitment should be affordable and aligned with a consumer's financial circumstances.

CASA Warns of Acquiring Bad Credit 

It's official -- Hugo Broos will not continue as Bafana Bafana head coach. The 74-year-old Belgian was at the helm of the South African football team for the last five years. He made the announcement in Johannesburg on the day his contract with the South African Football Association comes to an end. Broos says being away from his family for long periods of time, was the only reason for him not agreeing to a contract extension.
