A legal expert says failure to locate the developer linked to the Ormonde building collapse in the south of Johannesburg, could delay the process for affected families seeking justice. Nine construction workers died on Monday (2 March), after a concrete slab collapsed at a construction site in Ormonde. It has been reported that the developer linked to the project is still at large. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident, while questions remain around compliance with safety regulations and accountability. The case has been handed over to the police, who are working with engineers to determine the cause of the collapse.
