The Border Management Authority has ramped up law enforcement for the festive season, intensifying operations at ports of entry and vulnerable borderline sections to enhance security. The border authority says the processing of travelers and goods continues smoothly nationwide as operations began effectively in early December, with heightened measures amid expected surges. They are expecting a major influx this weekend followed by another peak ahead of Christmas reunions.
