Motorists have raised concerns after Japanese car manufacturer, Nissan joined the long list of major companies to recall some of their vehicle models due to defects. This comes after the National Consumer Commission (NCC) recalled over 1,600 Nissan Qashqai SUVs for fear that they may be affected by a fuel leak risk. Earlier this month, BMW South Africa recalled over 12,000 of its vehicles, citing the possibility of water entering the Starter Motor, which would cause corrosion. The Peugeot Landtrek has also been recalled, following a wear of the the vehicle's doorsill wiring harness, which is caused by interference with the doorsill cover.
