It’s in times like this that the true Aussie spirit shows. With Bushfires blazing across the country we hear countless stories of fundraisers raising money for affect communities and our RFS volunteers.

It is great to see that after their sold-out brunch, NOMAD Up the Road in Surry Hills Sydney has joined forces with Sydney’s hospitality industry to bring the Cook For the Bush campaign.

Kicking off from 10 am tomorrow there will be a great bake sale, rooftop lunch, and a silent auction with 100% of the proceeds from tomorrow going to the Australian Red Cross.

Jacqui Challinor is the executive Chef at NOMAD Up the Road and speaking with Mark Levy and Mark Riddell on the Weekend Edition she states just how incredible the response for help has been.

"Little kids (are) sending emails in offering to bake cupcakes for us... I'm actually speechless, it's beautiful to see."
