Calorie deficits and macros seem like the latest buzz in the world of fitness. Essentially it's just dieting and eating well. But looking at it differently, it's a balancing act of eating less, yet eating better.
In the age of Social Media, that's drinking more protein shakes and smoothies, eating more steaks, chicken, eggs and cutting carbs.
That's a bit of a shift from the days body-builders bulking up on tuna and rice, or chicken and broccoli - but the focus on keeping up protein is still relevant today.
