Russ opens with his weekly update on Wall Street and a bit better tone for the past week possibly due to inflation data.  He stresses the need to protect yourself from the Big Six retirement risks which are market risk, outliving money, inflation, investments, taxes, and the possibility of needing some form of long-term care.  As he does every week, Russ shares case studies involving his work with clients.  One involved a couple that had to retire sooner than planned due to covid and how he worked with them to solidify their plan and help them realize their dream of extensive traveling in retirement.  He then discussed a couple who he helped move out of bond and international funds after they switched to his services from those of a big box firm.
