Russ opens with his weekly Wall Street update and a read on the markets so far for 2023 and how the tone has been more upbeat but the markets are still being very cautious.  He does a comparison between retirement of today and that of our parents and grandparents.  Some of the differences he discusses are longevity and the risk that can come with that, changing attitudes towards when and how to retire, and concerns of health care cost and long-term care protection.  Russ spends time each week sharing stories of clients who have brought him their goals and challenges and how he worked with them.  This week he talks about a couple who he helped reduce their taxes and how he helped a woman “hit the retire button.”
