View descriptionShare

00:00-20:56 - The Wake Up Call with Andy Sweeney and Marc Dykton starts on a short-week Wednesday talking about the broken elevator at the radio station. Andy and producer Nathaniel are still huffing and puffing, while Marc takes it easy after somehow getting through without a hitch. Then, they talk about the struggles of the Indiana Fever, losing by 19 in Las Vegas last night. Finally, it's a trio of WNBA All-Stars donning the Fever jersey, as Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell all earn All-Star honors ahead of the game last night.

20:56-30:05 - Morning Checkdown

30:05-44:58 – Andy and Marc break down the Indiana Pacers roster, loaded with young talent. Is Indiana paying too much to their bench? What will the team do with Myles Turner heading into the season and toward the trade deadline?

44:58-1:21:05 – Andy and Marc open Hour 2 talking about their plans for Independance Day tomorrow and into the weekend. Then, it's the Colts Question of the Day. What does Indianapolis need to do to make the postseason next year? Then, John Groce calls into the program. Groce is the head coach of Akron’s men’s basketball team, the coach of new Indiana Pacers forward Enrique Freeman. What was Freeman’s incredible walk-on journey like from Coach Groce’s perspective? What are the Pacers getting in this pick? Groce details his Indiana connection, with close ties to Muncie and Danville, IN. At the end of the interview, Enrique Freeman joins the program, coincidentally walking by Coach Groce. Then, it’s a Morning Checkdown

1:21:05-1:28:24 – Andy and Marc talk about happy hours in the state of Indiana with a new law coming into effect this week.

1:28:24-1:32:46 – Andy and Marc wrap up the second hour.

1:32:46-1:59:16 – Mike DeCourcy of The Sporting News and the Big Ten Network joins to talk about the pair of Hoosiers taken in the NBA Draft last week. What lesson can players take from Zach Edey and Kal’el Ware’s journey, staying in the American college basketball system for an extra season before heading to the league? Should Miami be worried about the motor and drive of Ware? What does Mike make of the Kanon Catchings situation, with the highly touted recruit transferring to BYU last month. Then, it’s a Morning Checkdown

1:59:16-2:04:52 - Pop Quiz!

2:04:52-2:20:14 - To finish the show, Turron Davenport, a reporter that covers the Tennessee Titans, joins the program. It’s an AFC South Refresher, where Andy and Marc ask Davenport everything Nashville aside from Hawk Tuah. What is the early impression on new head coach Brian Callahan, who replaces Mike Vrabel. What are the expectations for Will Levis entering his sophomore season? L’Jarius Sneed was rumored to be headed to Indianapolis last March, and was instead traded to Tennessee. What will Sneed bring to the Titans on defense? What will the offense look like without Derrick Henry, who departed for Baltimore in free agency.
