But James wasn’t talking to “the world”—he’s addressing Christians, people like you and me, why can’t we get along? It’s a heart issue. What is competing for a place in our heart that only the Lord should occupy?

In this episode, Melanie reminds us that salvation is an instant work, but inner change is a lifelong pursuit. What are we pursuing, who is holding the reins of our heart? Becoming more like Jesus must be our goal to the very last breath we take on this earth.
