The Legal Practice Council has expressed concerns over the recent poor performance in the competency-based administration examination, with candidates achieving a pass rate that is over 5% lower in the May attorney’s admission exams. The council says that despite organising an Education Colloquium earlier this year to discuss curriculum changes and address examination results, the pass rates have not improved. The LPC has firmly dismissed any allegations that it deliberately causes candidates to fail.
