Stoppage Time

On this episode of The Victor Armendariz Show, Victor discusses the upcoming midterm elections, the direction of the Democratic Party, and what he sees as the growing influence of socialism, authoritarianism, and radical Islam in American politics. He criticizes the Democratic Party’s approach to Elon Musk, immigration, and political opponents, while arguing that Americans should prioritize legal immigration, individual opportunity, constitutional principles, and critical thinking. Victor also shares his views on Trump’s tariffs and their impact on prices, gas costs under the Biden administration, and why he believes voters should consider the economic consequences of their choices. Along the way, he takes a break from politics to talk soccer, Supercross, Mexican food, his love of America, and the simple pleasures of enjoying the outdoors.

In Stoppage Time, Victor looks ahead to the midterms and the potential consequences if Democrats gain control of Congress, including how that could affect Trump’s remaining agenda. He discusses possible Republican contenders for the 2028 presidential election, explaining why Marco Rubio and Ron DeSantis are among his preferred choices, while sharing reservations about JD Vance’s economic views. Victor also argues that Trump is willing to negotiate across party lines, but believes Democrats are too focused on power to find common ground. He closes by discussing immigration and the distinction he draws between people who come to America to work and contribute and those who rely on public assistance, before inviting listeners to enjoy the fall weather, try Georgia barbecue, and tune in for XTRA 106.3’s planned election-night special on November 3.
