After a meeting with Prime Minister Carney, the Premier of Alberta emerged with renewed optimism for a finalized Ottawa-Alberta Energy MOU. More than a month has passed since the original agreement deadline, which has yielded no signed-and-sealed pact. Meantime, Danielle Smith is also welcoming an announcement on more regulatory reform from the federal government, aimed at reducing the time it takes to approve energy projects down to 12 months.
