In many parts of Africa, cultural taboos and stigma surrounding menstruation exacerbate the problem, leading to significant barriers in education, employment, and social participation for girls and women.

An SOS cry to amend the WHO Pandemic Agreement Draft

Kemi Gbadamosi, Africa Bureau Director of Advocacy Policy and Marketing based in Abuja spoke to us on the AIDS Health Foundation (AHF) launching their Global SOS (Save our Society) initiative yesterday to highlight the flawed state of the current draft of the WHO Pandemic Agreement and drive change towards a more equitable and effective solution.

Health leaders from around the world joined the AHF in calling for a complete overhaul of the current plans, which they say will leave the vast majority of the globe at the mercy of future pandemics in favor of protecting more developed nations and enforcing the desires of the pharmaceutical industry.

We look at movements focusing on the Israel-Hamas war, the Democratic Republic of Congo cobalt war and other politically driven movements. As seen on Monday; tens of thousands of people took to the streets in Paris to condemn Israel's bombing of a camp base in Rafah on Sunday.



With that came a movement on social media called “digitine” an abbreviation of “digital guillotine” of individuals unfollowing or blocking public figures who have not been vocal about their stance on the Israel-Hamas war. We spoke to Paul Williams, Creative Director and Marketer and Sthembiso Sithole, Social Media Specialist.
