South Africa’s youth unemployment crisis remains one of the country’s most pressing challenges, with more than 60 percent of young people between the ages of 15 and 24 out of work.

In response, Property Point has launched a R26 million Real Estate Incubator Programme, in partnership with the Industrial Development Corporation.

The initiative is designed to create 699 new jobs by equipping young people with the tools, training and support they need to build sustainable careers in the property sector.

The programme goes beyond training by directly addressing the barriers that have kept many from entering the industry.

These include the high cost of licensing, reliance on commission-based income and limited access to professional networks.

Through paid stipends, licensing support, mentorship, and personal development, participants are given a real chance to succeed.
