L’Oréal South Africa in partnership with UNESCO is once again shining a spotlight on the future of science with the seventh edition of its For Women in Science South Africa National Young Talents Programme. The initiative supports and uplifts young female scientists who are pushing boundaries in fields like life sciences, engineering and environmental studies.

This year six research grants will be awarded; three to PhD candidates and three to postdoctoral researchers offering not only financial assistance but also a platform for recognition and growth. It’s a powerful step toward greater gender equity in STEM and a chance to inspire the next generation of researchers.
