The Department of Employment and Labour's Public Employment Services (PES) branch is calling on non-profit organisations (NPOs) to apply for a three-year funding cycle under a subsidy scheme aimed at promoting employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

This initiative, governed by the Employment Services Act of 2014, seeks to support NPOs that provide meaningful employment for people with disabilities by offering financial subsidies to help cover operational costs.

Eligible NPOs will receive quarterly financial support based on a predetermined amount.

The subsidy scheme will officially commence on 1 April 2025, upon the signing of a Service Level Agreement.

We are joined on the line by Lulu Madhlophe, Director Work seeker Services at the Department of Employment and Labour.
