The countdown has already started for eager travelers, after confirmation the Queensland border will reopen four ahead of schedule

From 1am Monday December 13 the hard border will ease for fully vaccinated travelers.

They will need to undergo a PCR test in the 72 hours before entering the state, they'll also need a second test on day 5.
