Fourteen people died when an Army veteran planted you through crowds on Bourbon Street. Thirty five others were injured. A prayer service has been held to honor those killed. Joe Biden says emergency crews risk their lives to prevent others losing theirs.
We think of the brave responders, law enforcement officers, officials rest their lives, stop the terror and save others, including two of those officers that I met tonight injured in the firefight. Now, thankfully both are recovering our home.
